have you ever told her these things? That she annoys you with her behaviour, that you KNOW that she gossips everytime she has a good news to say around...maybe she just does it because she needs to be accepted by others and she thinks that the best way is to tell them your secret...idk, but everyone has a good reason do to what she does, just tell her that this is not what a bff does.
And if you just don't want to have her as best friend, well, tell has this. Even if she is not the best for you, she is a friend and you need to be honest with friends! =]

And after kicking, i would ask him/her the reason of the gossiping around, and i would make him/her feel guilty...but at the end i think i wouldn't talk with him/her for the rest of my life.
I believe that friendship is the motor of the world, but i only want really friends next to me, and not fake one, they can go and make other friendships, if they want!
