There comes a time in the cycle of life when we all get old and die. And the life we embody leaves us, and we are an empty shell, buried, decomposed, forgotten. But in light of the dreadful end we all must come to terms with at some point in the century or so we are privileged to inherit the earth, there is a period of youth. Joy. Love. Dispair. Drama. Melodrama. And we are young for as long as we can be. Until we burn out and in a vast explosion, like the sunsets we've watched since our childhood, we leave.
