Hallo, fellow killjoy. My name is Nickolas, Nick for short, and I am a 17 year old killjoy living in Rhode Island. I found MCR when I was about 11 or 12, I heard 'Teenagers' on YouTube and I was like "ey, this si pretty cool". Then, I heard 'Welcome to the Black Parade' and instantly fell in love with them. I've been a fan ever since.
There are a lot of other bands I'm into. Some examples; Bring Me the Horizon, Fall Out Boy, Panic! At The Disco, Pierce the Veil, Slipknot, Twenty One Pilots, Suicide Silence, Chelsea Grin, and a lot of others.
Basically, I have a wide variety of music. It's mostly metal and rock, but I'm also into some dubstep/electronica, folk music, classical, and a lot more. The only genres i don't really like is most rap and most pop. The only exceptions are if they have an actual meaning.
I am also a lover of reading. I mostly read fiction stories and my favourite genres are things like fantasy, sci-fi and horror. I'm a huge fan of creepypasta and other horror stories, such as the works of Poe, Lovecraft and the Brothers Grimm. I also love fairy tales, especially the dark, macabre one written by the Brothers Grimm. One of my favourites, although not written by them, is Alice in Wonderland. For the longest time, I've been in love with that story, to the pooint where I want to name my first born daughter Alice. That's not weird . . . right?
I am also really into gaming, to the point where I may be a little addicted. Again, my favourites are fantasy, sci-fi and horror, but I prefer open-world games. Some of my favourite games are Fallout, Elder Scrolls, Dead Island, Saints Row, Homefront, The Sims, Doom, etc.
And that's just about all the interesting things I can think of about myself. I hope that I will meet many people here who share my interests and make many friends whilst I am here.
