I think it's awesome, I like PATD and to know that MCR and PATD are impressed by the other is just awesome.

* PATD- Ryan Ross and other band members have been seen wearing different MCR shirts.
Gerard Way said he is also impressed by the band.

* FOB- When "Sugar We're Going Down" won an award on MTV, Pete said "Helena" deserved the award and not them.
And in one gig, before they played the song "Golden", Pete spoke... "This song is about people who see light even though the world around them is dark, this is for the guys of My Chemical Romance."

*Chicosci- Miggy once mentioned in a gig (or idk, he just mentioned during a show)... that their song "A Promise" is kind of inspired by MCR.
And he also owns a copy of MCR's first album... "I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love."

i think its great that mcr inpires bands as such, i mean all these bands is awesome..
well excapt maybe chicosci but thats my opinion
no offensce to people who loves chicosci..

my point is, mcr are mcr and chicosci are chicosci.
and chicosci will never be mcr just because they are heavily influenced.
they will never produce anything like mcr do.
in short, they should stop looking up to mcr (not that it's bad or anything) because they might end up copying them, which is a bad thing.
i mean, yea they admire mcr but at least put it into moderation.
and their song chicosci vampire club whateveryoucallit almost remind of mcr's song cubicles.
argh.
i like chicosci.
but i like them better when they were on their own grounds and not being like any other band.
that's just my opinion. |
