The band took advantage of the fertile New Jersey punk scene to develop a sound that combined elements of emo and punk rock and began recording shortly after their formation." - from wikipedia. midtown broke up a couple years ago. the members went on to do other things, and join other bands. many people probably know the lead singer and bass player of midtown as the current lead singer of cobra starship.. gabe saporta. while midtown was together, they released an EP and 3 CD's. website. myspace. i personally think they're a great band, and if you listen to their cds in order, i think with each one, you see them growing as a band. i wish they didn't break up, but they had good reasons for doing so. my favorite cd is definitely forget what you know, but i like them all. :]

I really wish they hadn't broken up, but I do really like Heath in Senses Fail and Gabe in Cobra Starship. I'm still hoping for a reunion show/tour, even if it takes ten years for it to happen.
