Need to know. Salute You in Your Grave Age: 30 Gender: Female Posts: 3052 | I bought my ticket yesterday and booked the flights today so it's official. It's gonna be my first My Chem concert and also the first 'real/proper' concert :]] I'm so excited! |
Firegarder Joining The Black Parade Age: 38 Gender: Female Posts: 233 | I'm going! This will be my 8th time of seeing them... lol 2nd time just at Wembley. hehe I can't wait, I always go with the same group of friends, and we have a great time. Ihope you have an amazing time! (I know you will!) |
Need to know. Salute You in Your Grave Age: 30 Gender: Female Posts: 3052 | ^ Cool, you're so lucky! x] And thanks, I hope you do too! =] I have a few questions and it'd be great if anyone could help. (I'll ask them in Tour Q&A as well)... Are there usually taxis outside the venue after the concert? Or should I prepare in advance or something? How long does the concert usually last/at what time time is it usually over? If I have seated tickets, do I still have to queue for hours in advance or what? Assuming they take our water bottles when we go in (I read they sometimes take the cap off?), will we be able to buy drinks from inside? Oh and did they by any chance have a big screen showing the stage last time? 'Cause that'd be just perfect =D I'd appreciate any help, thank you! =) |
Sweet Pandemonium. Bleeding on the Floor Age: 31 Gender: Female Posts: 1189 | I'm going! Really cannot wait, it's gonna be amazing I'm sure A World Unseen. I'll try and help you out with your questions: I'm not really sure about getting taxis after concerts as I have never done so myself but I think you would probably have to arrange something beforehand. You'll probably benefit more from someone else answering that question though xD When I saw MCR in October the set was 1 hour and 50 mins but I doubt it will be quite that long again as that was really long for a concert. Will probably be more like 1 hour and 30 mins or something like that. You won't have to queue in advance if you have seated tickets, you can just go on in any time after the doors have opened and go find your seat (I've also got seats, which block are you in? ) You'll be able to get drinks inside, all arenas have bars/food stands inside them and water is generally free. And yes, they will most definitely have a big screen up. Hope that helps |
Need to know. Salute You in Your Grave Age: 30 Gender: Female Posts: 3052 | Sweet Pandemonium.:Yay, that's great! I was trying not to get high hopes up but I pretty much failed haha =DD Ah, I understand. I'll see what others might say or maybe I'll try to get some number for a taxi and call when we get in London xD Sweet Pandemonium.:Aww, I was hoping for more (but then again they could play for 3 hours and still want more hehe ) But there'll be an opening act, right? Sweet Pandemonium.:That's good. I got E2 Row H (At least I'm 99% sure...I couldn't find the paper) I know it's quite at the back but considering I had already given up 3 times on going, I'm just happy I'll be there :] What about you? Sweet Pandemonium.:That's all just awesome! Thank you very much! =] |
Sweet Pandemonium. Bleeding on the Floor Age: 31 Gender: Female Posts: 1189 | A World Unseen.: Haha yeah, even though I was knackered by the end of the concert I would've kept on going for another hour if I had too just because it's MCR xD And yeah there will more than likely be a support band (: A World Unseen.: Oh awesome! Yeah it doesn't matter whereabouts you are, you're still at a MCR concert and that's all that matters really xD I'm in block N5 Row U. A World Unseen.: No problem, glad I was of some help! And I'm sure you will but I hope you have a really amazing time at the concert |
Firegarder Joining The Black Parade Age: 38 Gender: Female Posts: 233 | I'm afraid I can't help with Taxi's either. I've been to Wembley a few times, but always take the underground as I'll be getting a train home (tis a bit of a trek! lol), so I've never made much attention to other forms of transport. I would have though there would be some hanging around, it makes sense for them to be hanging around at such a big event. If you prepared a taxi in advance, I don't know how you would find it in that big area? lol I could imagine someone nabbing it for themselves. lol And definately don't queue for hours if you have seats! Not in the February cold! But I think last time, I didn't queue from very early, and by the time I had gotten into the venue, the support act were already on. I'm not too fussed about missing some of the support act, but I dunno, you might be? But queueing for seating might not be as bad as for standing, so you might not have that problem. The crowd gets assigned different entrances on their tickets. Last time I went to Wembley, they were handing out free water, but you did have to go just outside the auditorium, so you would potentially miss a little part of the show. There is plenty of food and drink you can buy, but be aware it will be expensive! haha |
Need to know. Salute You in Your Grave Age: 30 Gender: Female Posts: 3052 | Sweet Pandemonium.:Hehe, exactly! x] Ahh, I can't wait to know who the support band is! I want to be able to start learning the lyrics off by heart now that I've learnt Danger Days haha xp Sweet Pandemonium.:Definitely, it's all about the music and atmosphere anyway =] Yeah, you were! :] And thanks, same to you =D Firegarder:Hmm, I see. I guess I'll try searching for a taxi company or something like that then. x) Ah ok, I think I'll be there a bit early but not for hours. It's gonna be a tight schedule anyway lol xD And in that case I could just ask my dad to get some food/drinks so it won't be a problem. Thank you a lot! =] |
makesomenoise Killjoy Age: 29 Gender: Female Posts: 1 | so excited!!! wanted to see them for 4 years! |

Mass Hysteria Killjoy Age: 36 Gender: Female Posts: 83 | Anyone who has been to Wembley Arena - how far is it from the Stadium? Because i've been to the stadium and so I know my way there from the station, but not to the arena. And I have a hotel booked in St Pancras and will need to get back there before the tubes stop. Also just saying, regarding taxis, London taxis aren't cheap! It depends on where you want it to take you, but you're looking at about a £4 minimum charge, and that wouldn't take you far. |
Firegarder Joining The Black Parade Age: 38 Gender: Female Posts: 233 | The arena is literally next door to the stadium. |
Mass Hysteria Killjoy Age: 36 Gender: Female Posts: 83 | Ah right, I thought it was, thanks XD I may as well put this here too as no one is biting anywhere else; I have two standing tickets for this show but I want seats, now. Is anyone looking for a swap? Lower tier preferably. PM me or email me mplssong@hotmail.com if you're interested |
Last.Night.On.Earth Bleeding on the Floor Age: 30 Gender: Female Posts: 1564 | Someone was talking about taxi's? In my experience of going to gigs you should be fine getting a taxi afterwards because they generally swarm around a venue because they know there's so many people who'll want one! I tried to pre-book one at the last MCR gig I went to and I realised that was absolutely no way I was going to even find it! There were so many so I just got in the nearest empty one and was fine. |
