Hey Karri.
The forums are pretty straightforward - just stay on topic, and if you feel like a random chat then there are the "What are you Thinking" (or WAYT for short) threads. Anything within reason pretty much goes in the WAYT. Imo they're tons of fun.
I hope that helped a bit? I'm not the best at explaining things, so you can PM me or find me in the WAYT under the band section if you need clarification.

Different parts of the forum are for different things--for example, the "Games and Trivia" section is obviously games and trivia. The Art section is where you can post any art you've done or comment on others. "The Discussion Forum" is for serious topics. "The Band" section is for all things MCR, but then there's the "Band News" section which is exactly what it sounds like. The "What Are You Thinking?" or WAYT threads are for pretty much anything you want. No topics, just say whatever you want. Everyone in the WAYT threads are super friendly, and you can find Leila (above^) and I in the WAYT thread in "The Band" section. But there's also the n00b WAYT, and the Poetry WAYT, but the Poetry WAYT has been pretty dead from what I can tell.
