Once I Was A Lurper...Now I'm An Official n00b-lar!

So, I have finally decided to create an account! (As if I really needed any more outlets for my otaku-esque tendencies...) These introductions always seem narcissistic, even to a self-labeled narcissist like myself. As a consequence, I'm never really sure what should be said herein.... Pertaining to my MCR fandom, I fell head over high-schooler heels for them! When I was in my junior year of high school(circa 2003)I had heard OF My Chemical Romance, but was only familiar with one or two tracks/songs. A friend of mine, and I, made the decision to ditch the class period that immediately followed our break for luncheon. The two of us walked a few blocks to obtain pescetarian-friendly cuisine at McDonalds, and noticed a local radio station had set up a booth(of sorts) directly across the street. The station chose us to participate in an alternative rock trivia contest. "Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge" by My Chemical Romance was the prize, and since my friend had no interest in them whatsoever, it was all mine!!  Ever since I popped that CD into my bedroom stereo...it's been a steamy love affair between myself & the boys of MCR!  Feel free to IM / PM me!  |
