Drummer wanted!

Ragecody Killjoy Age: - Gender: - Posts: 1	December 30th, 2010 at 12:10am Hello buddies My name is Cody and my band is looking for a drummer. We are an experimental-drum/bass-alternative band. I have been looking for a like minded drummer to help us get back on the road again with music. I'm hoping to find someone with simlar musical ideals. As far as im concerned music is something that makes me feel complete. We had a drummer a few months ago but had to let him go. We were getting really tight and defining our sound but his attitude was too much. Sense then I've felt like something is missing. Playing shows and writing original music was very fullfulling. I'd like to get back to that. I'm not concerned with "making it" as much as playing what feels right and being proud of our music no matter how different it is. Weneed someone who gets just as excited when a jam session turns into something brilliant and you know a.song is coming out of it. I play bass and have been for 5 years now, I'm also learning cello. We have a singer who occasionally plays xylophone. We are looking to make something creative that sounds different than anyone else. We play as a bass drum and vocal trio and because there is no guitar we want to have a progressive structure. We need to fill the gap so no one misses the guitar. We have gotten a surprising amount of people who dig our different style and have gained some local attention for the short amount of time we were playing shows. We also opened up for the flobots at the rave in Wisconsin I know this formula works and I need a confident musician who plays because that's what feels right. We don't need rock star attitudes, we are very serious about getting started and need someone who can commit to that. Our influences are very diverse and include mars Volta, secret chiefs 3, estradashpere, John zorn, Masada string trio, beck, modest mouse, rodrigo y Gabriella, farmers market, red hot chili peppers, sublime, flobots, mr bungle, and rage against the machine If you think we could get along send me an email at ragecody@yahoo.com Thanks a lot.
