Breathe
Have I lost thy self?
Am I going mad?
I've become a monster, have I not?
Surely I have,
If I am to call upon the Keres.
I fear my darker side is winning me over
Making it hard to escape.
To live freely.
To breathe.
Shall the good ever prevail?
I hope.
For I'm losing sight, sanity, and worst of all
Me.
The darkness is clouding my vision fast
So if anyone can hear me,
Please, this is my cry for help. |

Like a fire needs oxygen
But you aren't oxygen
No, you're ferrocyanide gas
Filling my lungs to the brim
With that sweet, odd scent
That I can't for one moment resist.
Do you realize what it is you're doing to me?
You make my head spin,
My cheeks burn,
And my heart burst.
Why is it you can't notice these euphoric symptoms of mine?
I thought I was the blind one
Then again, you are blinded by another,
As I with you.
My sweet, sweet cyanide.
Only other poem I've been able to find on my computer so far.
It's kind of...'eh', but I wrote it in eighth grade. >__< |
