Hi, I'm new to this site. I am 52 years old. I have been a MCR fan since 2011. My youngest daughter introduced me to the song "Sing." I started with Danger Days and worked backwards. The further back a went, the more I loved their music. I love their music to the core. I don't know any other MCR fans here, so I am really excited to have found this community. I am a retired piano bar musician and a mother of six. I live in a really remote area where art and culture are not really appreciated, and while I appreciate my neighbors, who are really nice people, I feel really isolated. There isn't even a book store anywhere nearby. The closest one is like two hours away. MCR saved my life because their music makes me feel less isolated and I lost 40 pounds exercising to their music.
