brand new eyes Always Born a Crime Age: 29 Gender: Female Posts: 6798	February 12th, 2008 at 05:21pm Totally one of my favorite bands. Ash is SO nice. I talked to her like, six times at a show. She walked by with coffee the third time and waved. I was like, "WHOA." She basically approached me after I waited in line twice to meet her. They put on an amazing show. Who We Are from the EP is my favorite song.

I don't think they're the new Paramore at all. The lyrics are a lot "darker" than Paramore's stuff, and Ashley has quite a different vocal range to Hayley. Just because they're both fronted by great female singers doesn't automatically make them alike.

Ash sounded amazing, they were super energetic, and they were just as good as The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, if not better. I was near the back of the venue though during their set because this terrifying girl (who I am convinced was on crack or something) threated to kill me because I was talking on my cell phone before the show started. The drums and shit weren't even set up yet and people were still coming in. I was really scared, so I changed my shirt and stuff so she wouldn't see me. I got some good pictures though. I'll post them in a bit.
