I searched for FFAF, to find that there is no topic.
I find this hard to believe, because they are one of the best bands ever in existence.

Band Myspace.

They're a post hardcore band from Southern Wales (well used to be a few years ago).

And they're simply amazing.

I've been a fan of FFAF for quite a few years now, and I never ever get sick of them.
I agree, I think they're one of the best bands out there, and they are totally underrated.

My favourite song is History. But I also love Your Revolution Is A Joke, Bend Your Arms to Look Like Wings, Rookie of the Year, Roses for the Dead, Drive, On A Wire, Walk Away... etc.
=D

And I think their video clips are never short of amazing.
Especially Walk Away. I bawl my eyes every time I watch it.

So yer.
I really, really love FFAF. Definitely a band I have total respect for.

My favorite songs are Escape Artists Never Die, Rookie Of The Year, History, Your Revolution Is A Joke, The End Of Nothing, Streetcar, Roses For The Dead, Bend Your Arms To Look Like Wings, Novella, and more..

Okay, I love all of their songs.

Yes
I don't think they've ever written a bad song, to be honest.

I think they're an evolutionary band, as I listen to Casually Dressed, or their EPs, just as much as I listen to Tales. But they're one of those bands that are just good at what they do, and they'd never disappoint me with what they released. =]

Plus, many of their songs bring tears to my eyes, so that's a big deal. =D

Omg I never knew there was a FFAF thread.
But it's dead so wutwut in the butt.

Yeah, my favourite songs are She Drove Me To Daytime TV, Kiss and Make Up,
Roses for the Dead, Streetcar, and Juneau.

I'm like the only one I know who likes/heard of Funeral For A Friend.

Their music is just so powerful and emotional, it's so hard to describe.

I agree.
Their music is so powerful. The lyrics and the music itself.
As I said in another post, they're completely underrated.
No one really gives them a second thought, but they should be huuuuge.

I knowwww.

I'm upset, cause I've never seen them live.
I like have to see them, before they decide to call it quits, probably in a year or so.

Cause, you can write only so many amazing songs.
After that, maybe they'll decide FFAF is done.

for some reason, but I really love them again now.

& I might be going to see them in October. : D

Funeral For A Friend is probably my biggest influence in song writing, guitar wise, lyric wise, singing wise.

They all compliment each other so beautifully.

They were supporting MCR when they were in sweden last year, and they did a really good show. Most times I don't enjoy the supporting band, since I just want to see what I came for, but FFAF really impressed me. It's not a easy task to support a band.
However, I don't listen to them much today, since I'm not a huge fan of their latest album. But Hours is amazing, hands down.

I don't really have high hopes for the new album.

I like Beneath the Burning Tree, but I doubt all the other songs would top it.

It'd probably just sound like Tales with more distortion :/

You never know.
I think the two songs sound like a combination of all their three albums, to be honest.

I loved Tales, as much as I love Hours and Casually Dressed...
So I think I'll most likely get into the new album, fast.
I find it hard to dislike any of FFAF's material, because it is constantly appealing to me.

I don't like Waterfront Dance Club. :\ Hopefully it grows on me.
I've only heard Beneath the Burning Tree once, and it's okay.

Also, they had released a new track, You Can't See The Forest For The Wolves.

You can hear it on their myspace.

Personally, I really like Wolves, and Burning Tree, but I'm not so fond on Kicking And Screaming & Waterfront Danceclub.

Though, I think it'd definitely be a lot better than Tales.

I'm not one of those people who are like, "ohhh they stopped screaming ahh they suck"

Tales wasn't good, cause honestly, it was really fucking bland. I'd have to say it was pretty much shit all the way through.
I mean, I've listened to all the songs all the way though, over and over, like 12 times maybe, and they still sound bland, like FFAF had lost their soul.
Well, that's just me personally.
Well I think they got some of it back in the upcoming album, if that makes any sense?
