About

Hi I'm Meredith. I've been listening to My Chemical Romance for about 3 years. I can't even describe how much they have impacted my life. One thing I can say is that they got me through some fucking hard times and don't know what I would have done without them. They aren't kidding when they say they are a band that will save your life. More than anything I want to meet Gerard Way. I consider him my hero.

Some of my favorite MCR songs are: Our Lady of Sorrows, Demoltion Lovers, Helena (the song that got me into them), Desert Song, Skylines and Turnstiles, You Know What They Do to Guys Like Us in Prison, and Its Not a Fashion Statement, Its a Fucking Deathwish. My favorite album is probably Revenge but Bullets is a close second. I am so excited about the 4th album being a return to punk rock. The Black Parade was good but I love the old MCR sound.

Music is pretty much my life. Unfortunately not a lot of bands come to Oklahoma. Besides MCR some of my favorite bands are Alesana, Avenged Sevenfold, Bullet for my Valentine, Evanescence, Hawthorne Heights, My Chemical Romance, Theatres Des Vampires, and The Used. I play drums and my next goal is to play guitar.

Wow, that sounds pretty tough. Although at least you don't get religion shovelled down your throat with a 100% expectancy for your pass rate [i.e you dont get everything right = you fail.] Aww well.
There are multiples of cliques at my school, while I used to be in one of those terrible back stabbing 'plasticated' groups I soon discovered their was more to life than a material world; in a nutshell I discovered music and stopped caring for such things. But I can understand where you're coming from, cliques can be pretty volatile and everyone within them 'hate' the outsiders. Particularly if you stand out and/or are into rock music, well at least at my school that's who the 'outsiders' are. x]
That's really awesome you're keen on starting up an MCRmy! I think the best place to start would actually be right here, the mcr forums and maybe make groups on myspace/facebook/bebo whichever is the most popular for you =D
Aww, I have written numerous letters and rants to My Chem. I guess it's just a way of relieving my tensions though I wouldn't send them to the guys.I might send something less, idk, less personal to their fan address.. I still haven't gotten around to that. Although I believe I probably will meet them one day, you probably will too, especially if you start your own army!!
I like your new username btw, I forgot to say that in my last post =)
Do you have a bebo? [I have myspace but bebo's the site in NZ -if you know what I mean xD]

Every day should be MCR day. At my house, it is! Yeah, I wish I could go to one of their concerts. But instead I bought The black parade is dead! cd\dvd.

Awww =( That's sad. My school's pretty crap as well, I go to a Catholic Girls School, we recently got banned from having any socials [dances/balls] with all our surrounding schools because some girls in my year brought alcohol and drugs to school last year. It's quite a tragic affair, very tragic indeed xD Anyway, I'm back to school next Monday, which is pretty sad as I'll actually have to be doing something rather than bumming around listening to music.
Wow, my school is considered to be small, but then again I actually do live in the biggest city in NZ. Which is fortunate because all though not many bands come here, when they do Auckland is the only place they visit =)
You really should start one up. It would be awesome when it's a big thing and everyone will look back and you'll be like, the all-hailed leader! :]

maybe you should start shopping for your grandma and turn her into your totally rockin grandma who wears dark make-up, all black, and crowd surfs at screamo concerts!

haha that's cool. My sister's still pretty weirded out by them, as is my mother most of the time. I liked Evanescence as well, I was actually watching their DVD not too long ago. Amy Lee has an amazing voice, although I don't know if they ever came here, to NZ. I don't recall that happening. My Chem were my first international band concert, which was awesome. Even if I did come to appreciate them a lot more after that night I saw them xD
I'm actually pretty amazed at how many My Chem fans there are in NZ, considering we're so far away from everything. Yet there's about five real fans at my school[which has 900 girls] and heaps all over the country [4.5 million people, just for the record xD] If there isn't one in your state or area, I'm not sure what you call it :|, but you should start one up even if there are only a few people. When AFI come out with their new EP I want to see what happened to the DF in NZ. Maybe one needs to be started up.
Idk, I'm probably crazy but it's a really good thing to have a group who are all appreciative of your favourite music regardless of the size. =D
Anyway, what have you been up to lately?
