How was school? I live in Australia, so we don't get 'summer vacation'. We just have four terms of school, and in between each one we get two weeks off. Except for Christmas, we get about six weeks.

That's what I thought!
I just finished SparkNotes-ing The Grapes of Wrath, and it took FOREVER, but I really feel like I completely understand the book now and I wrote lots of notes and used page markers (because Mrs. DiPeppe suggested it), so hopefully it works for me.
I plan on doing most of my work today.
