i don't get this.
it seems that people assume so many horrible things and they truly have no idea.
hmph.
my bunk has never felt so much like home. i am not sure how i feel about it either.
The List. Part 1
i miss sleep overs and having my friends tell me their 'scurry' stories...and when i try and top them with my shitty ones.
i miss finding out what is for lunch in the caffeteria and talking shit on it.
i wish i could sleep for 3 weeks.
i wish i could wake up to my mom blow drying her hair.
i wonder if people care about the truth or if its just empty hype.
i miss snow fights and crushing on the girl in the 5th grade.
i am trying to learn myself and i am proving to be my hardest class.
i miss playing football in the empty lot next to my house in Westfield, NY and how it seemed so massive...even though its tiny.
i miss climbing trees and scraping my knees.
i miss peroxide kisses from cotton balls and sneaking in extra snacks.
i wish that i was a grown up with the heart i had when i was 9.
i am curious to see where i will be in 5 years.
i long for going to Eason Hall on friday nights and that feeling i got when i was too scared to ask a girl to 'couple skate'.
i don't think i am anything that you all think i am.
i am a boy who lacks the confidence that benchwarmers for the middle school football team have.
i can't begin to explain how badly i want you all to see what the real me is.
i envy my grandfather and the life that he has lead.
i wish i was a little bit taller...i wish i had a...
i compare myself to everyone around me and see myself far lower than what they are.
i am able to disect the smallest thing and worry up at night
i listen to so much music and just wish that someday i will be able to compose something worth while.
i need to shower...but i want it to last for 3 hours.
i want to show everyone that i am a mess without being pathetic or begging for compliments.
i miss teasing my sister.
i miss my sister being bigger than me and beating me up...the nose bleed of '96.
i wonder what life is like for the friends i lost touch with.
i am constantly wondering how i grew up to be who i am.
i just want to be a boy.
i am an outsider like you wouldn't believe.
i will continue to comprise this list until my fists can't resist.
