They will get a new bassist, but will not replace Kerith. But, as in the words of Steve, "Who said we are getting rid of violins completely? Like i said before, we have some HUGE ass suprises coming your way for the Strung Out tour... it is all coming together slowly but surely."
My Little Decoy Among The Living Age: 15 Gender: Female Posts: 4566	July 30th, 2007 at 03:59am From Steve : So many things to say... such damn little time. I am writing to you from Starbucks. Mmmmmm.... chilled cafe late makes my heart go a pitter-patter. As some of you may know, Kerith and Brian are leaving the band. We here in I AM GHOST will miss them, they are still apart of our family, and will always be our friends. This touring life style is NOT made for everyone. If touring 10 months out of the year was easy, then every fucking band would be doing it. But, they don't. Only a select few do this, and make it actually work. It's a tough business, but the rest of the members actually like driving from state to state and sleeping 3 hours a day and not having a shower for days. It makes us happy. Let me just say... everything happens for a reason. On August 3rd, it begins. What begins? Well, the rebirth of I AM GHOST. We will be starting our tour with STRUNG OUT, mega fucking punk rock heros of ours. This tour will start out with our new bass player... and we will be doing a video blog with Ron sometime today. What is this new I AM GHOST? New rebirth? Well, it's something we have been talking about for awhile now. If you did not know, Tim and Gabe are waaaaaay into dark, death metal bands. My love for the horror scene and blood and guts has been held inside for awhile now. We all have wanted to write, perform darking music for awhile now. And now, that does NOT mean screaming in every fucking verse. We mean mother fucking DARK music. This is something which has excited us, and now it will begin. Ron and the rest of the gang are writing new music now, but will continue to peform the stuff off Lovers' Requiem. The stage show on August 3rd will be something different... and i don't want to spoil everything yet. But, let me assure you, it is going to kick ass. I love every one of you, and for those who say we are breaking up need to be punched in the face. Yes, we will be different, but that is not a bad thang. For those ready to join us in this new I AM GHOST experience, then get ready. If you prefer the older, more poppier I AM GHOST then that is fine. Just leave us the hell alone.
