Still, I don't think they'll do that.

That's okay Smile Everyone is different. I kinda know where you're coming from cause I love rock and...classical music. ^_^' but I also didn't mind the bit of rapping in the songs, it was very well done and tasteful. What I was not so thrilled with was the other album they've released with Jay...somebody, with mixes of their songs with rapping by him...like Numb/encore. It's been on mtv a bit, you ought to have seen it (if you don't have the cd, that is) because it just seems like they're destroying the whole meaning behind their music, the whole essence of who they are.

Just my opinion, anyhow. I just hope their next cd is back to the good old stuff we know and love them for...

I don't think they will...if they don't try to be more rap than rock. Their first two cds have shown such a huge talent that I really don't think is likely to just dissapear.

Worst case senario is that only one or two of their songs are good, the rest are mediocre, but I really can't see that happening. They've got such a unique sound and a good ear for awesome tunes it would just be crazy to think they would fuck up.

Of course, they could....if we're all very, very unlucky -_-

I can't quite catch your meaning...if the songs are good, then...well, I don't really think it's a case of suceeding with them. If the songs are good, we don't have anything to worry about Very Happy

Omg, everytime I think of Linkin Park, I think of my old neighbour.
She was so funny, she was like fifty, and my friend and I were listneing to the Meteora album, and she was all 'Oh, these guys are pretty good' I don't know why I just told everyone that.
But yeah, I don't think there's too much to worry about, if the albums good, and they have the "loyal fans, who listen to them faithfully", theres really no need to worry about them not succeeding. They'll do alright.

Surrender to nothing;;:
Linkin Park is awesome.
Yes

If I
Turn my back I'm defenseless
And to go blindly seems senseless
If I hide my pride and let it all go on then they'll
Take from me 'till everything is gone
If I let them go I'll be outdone
But if I try to catch them I'll be outrun
If I'm killed by the questions like a cancer
Then I'll be buried in the silence of the answer
by myself.
