doesn't it obviously that the two bands (MCR + The Used) are feeling pressured from their job?
i mean thats the most simple explanation....
either that or they both liked the song alot and just wanted to do a cover of it

I don't think they should have EVER redone this song, it's a classic and they butchered it. Neither of then have the voice for that song. I love MCR, and I understand that it was for charity, but WHY?

And when I found out The Used put it on their CD I almost went crazy.

Charity=NO MONEY!

I can't believe they would do that.

Under Pressure is a great song that should have been left alone when Freddie died.

REMEMBER ^ only my opinion, so don't freak out on me.

i actually like the new version, but i agree when you say it shouldn't be on the used cd.

i think thats one of the reasons bert&gerard had that falling out.

but yeah, good song. i like the voices better on the used/my chem version.

I like that they redid the song, i dont like how they did it. they tried to mimick it exactly and they screwed it up. they should have dont a twist off the original but whatever its done, and its ok to listen to but its def. not under my 'recently played' list

Just a reminder, talk about the meaning of the song here, not how much you like/dislike it.

i think its about the pressure of trying to have people accept things even if their taboo. for instance, why can't we give love 1 more chance- when i think about that phrase all that comes to mind is 2 men or women fall in love but 1 of them breaks it off because they fear of not being accpeted and the other is trying to tell them that its ok and theres going to be rough parts but if they stick together they can help people accept it and get over it. maybe that sounds really specific and weird and there are actually allot more different meanings about the song but thats just 1 part i got out of it. basically its like the pressure of the world in general, like that weight of the world feeling people get sometimes. it talks about all of the issues, and people trying to turn away rom the feeling and ignoring it and having it eventualy drive you crazy because it eats away at your skull

"It's the terror of know what this world's all about"
I think it's about society's pressure on you, to fit in and stuff. To get a good job and so... It's kinda easy to reconize yourself in it.
Also it could, at least to me, mean that you are under pressure to be okay... Or something like that. "Why can you just be normal? Why you gotta complain?".....

Well..it's a cover of David Bowie/Queen....

So uhm I think it's about how EVERYONE no matter who you are feels the pressure to BE something more or to DO something more.....
and maybe even GIVE something in return for the whole ["why can't we give love(xCool"...]

"..and love dares you to change our ways of caring about ourselves.."..something like that...but uhm..maybe to lift the pressure we feel, we need to start caring about ourselves because we put others first or nobody...maybe we put the world first which is why we feel this pressure?

"this is our last dance this is our last dance this is ourselves...under pressure"
Maybe we just need to dance it off lol

"..these are the days it never rains but it pours"
Maybe reffering to when its raining things are pretty calm..granted it might put you out of your way a little but still kinda nice...but when it's pouring down rain...that's when you have to start canceling appointments postponing trips and everything gets hectic!.....X_X......

Well these are my thoughts...=p
