Posts: 612 | September 16th, 2007 at 06:17am i used to be a huge hip hop fan, but it seems kind of lacklustre these days... the only good things in hip hop for me right now are Jay-Z and Lupe Fiasco. and maybe Kanye West & Talib Kweli.
i feel like Lupe is really underrated... his songs have so much substance but they dont sell as much as they should because he moves away from the typical rap formula of the last few years (money/cars/bling/women)
I saw him live at Big Day Out Sydney 2007 and he was phenomenal. anyone with an interest in real hip hop needs to listen to him. |
