Posts: 1979 | Can anyone tell me if this concert is still on? I just bought my ticket and a plane ticket and now someone said on another thread that it's cancelled. I can't find anything on the MCR website or the venue website about it being cancelled and I can't get through to the box-office!

Posts: 224 | Yeah.. I drove 2 hours with my friends and stayed overnight in a hotel nearby so we could get out in line early. We got out there at 4:30 in the morning and no one was there. I was like "This is weird.. For all the other MCR shows I've been to there've been people out here by now.." Then someone drove by in a car and said that the show was cancelled.. They said there were signs out there and we didn't see any of them. So then we walked around the arena and found about three of these tiny printer paper sized signs taped to doors saying "The concert is canceled due to food poisoning. 5/6/07 The sponser informed the arena at 11:30 last night." (Something along those lines..) So it really sucked..
But whatever they need to do to get well again they should do it.
So they're resceduling it for after July? And what's this "key to the city ceremony"? I haven't heard of that happening.. |
