Age: - Gender: - Posts: 4473 | August 7th, 2007 at 07:46am they introduced me to the used, black flag, the misfits, the bouncing souls, makeup, my style, and mostly, who i was. i don't think i'd like how i turned out nearly as much without the boys.
oh, and they introduced me to believe that i could stop trying so damn hard to become someone i wasn't and just have faith in myself. they really showed me how to stay true. |

Uhm...I was introduced to makeup
uhm reality...pain...getting over pain...my style of me-ness
I try out for different things now that I probably wouldnt...I guess they introduced me to more self confidence and that I'm allowed to dance at preppy stores like Hollister just to turn a couple heads and maybe piss a couple people off
Also to be more helpful...especially at the booth that carries MCR stuff(I got free MCR stuff that way)^_^
Yup 5 Jersey kids( and one from Chicago after one Jersey was let go) grew up and changed the world with their words of wisdom..acts of awesomeness and most importantly their music...who would've thunk it?

Age: - Gender: - Posts: 13229 | August 9th, 2007 at 06:39am They brought me my second favorite band, Thursday.
They pretty much made me interested in music. I'd like just about NONE of the bands I do today if not for them.

Also the idea that I'm not alone. That it's okay to not be okay, or messed up. That homophobia is gay. |
