I can't believe I forgot Chris Cornell the first time, and I also can't believe that he hasn't been mentioned. Come on people here's a guy who sounds even better live than on CD, unlike Gerard Way or Bert McCracken, who (with all due respect) sound pretty shit live.

Gerard Way-
He has such a unique voice.
He rolls alotta of his words off the tip of his tounge.
He has a amazing voice.

Aaron Rothe-
He has such a light voice.
Although his screams are heavy.
Reminds me of Craig Owens.

Oli Sykes-
Just a badass screamer.
BMTH is a little off on the guitar riffs.
Although Oli Sykes keeps it on time.

Bert McCracken from The Used, his voice is just so versatile...he can scream in tune and everything. it can be so light yet so harsh.

Cove Reber from Saosin, its so strong his voice and still light.

Dandilion Opaine. Her voice is just so unique and she does a lot of crazy vocals, even if you don't like the way she sounds, it stands out.
Rosalie Cunningham, her voice is beautiful.
Tahita Bulmer, as well, very unique sounding.
Faris Badwan, He's been progressing greatly over time, and there's something really deep and hypnotic about his voice, it just has that dark sound and it can do some crazy things.

Corey Taylor is No 1, soft, hard whatever, the best(Slipknot, Stone Sour)
Gerard Way (What band is he in again?!?!)
Brandon flowers (The Killers)
freddie Murcury (Queen)
Michael Akerfeldt (Opeth)
Anybody agree? Thoughts?

Personally, I'd name:
-Dallas Green [Alexisonfire/City and Colour]
-Claudio Sanchez [Coheed and Cambria - you either love or hate his voice]
-Dave Grohl [Foo Fighters - he can cover a vast range of genres and styles, not only because he has a strong voice but also amazing musicianship skills]
-Raine Maida [Our Lady Peace - he has one of the most unique voices I have ever heard, and simply cannot be compared to many other singers]
-Paul Hewson aka Bono [U2 - I saw him live, and his voice can send goosebumps down anyone's spine]
-Jeff Buckley [to be specific, his cover of Hallelujah is just divine. There are hardly any frontmen that nowadays possess the same raw talent he had]

Ronnie James Dio - Do I really need to explain? He has one of the strongest voices ever in rock music. Especially in Heaven and Hell when he was in Black Sabbath.

Howard Jones - One of the best singing voices ever. This guy can land any pitch you can think of. Just amazing.

Amy Winehouse- Her voice is so rich and she's amazing at angst.
Brian Molko of Placebo - He isn't AMAZING, but he's so sincere. His range is great too.
Matt Bellamy of Muse (Sp?)- His RANGE. Holy shit.
Lacey of Flyleaf (sp?)- Her voice annoys the crap out of some people, but I love it.

I am disgusted with some of the answers that are being given.
gerard way, haley williams and bert mccraken? is that all you know?
try to have a little variety, people.
anyways.

axl rose.
vince neil.
steven tyler.
john lennon and paul mcartny.
mariah carrey.
gwen stefani.
robert plant.
beyonce.

you all have to consider live music, folks.
you can be the worst ever and still sound good on CD.
It's all in voice modification systems.
