DANDI WIND was started in Vancouver, Canada by Dandilion Wind Opaine (vocals) and Szam Findlay (music) following Dandi’s collaboration with Szam as a sculptor and animator accompanying his instrumental music.

Now based in Montreal they have released 4 eps/singles and a full length album (14 songs / 10 videos) titled “Concrete Igloo” – which highlights Dandi’s animations in addition to the music. After self-releasing the LP on their own Todtenschlaf Records it has been reissued on SLUM and in Europe on Alt: Delete. Due later this year is a 2nd full length album on SLUM titled “Yolk Of The Golden Egg” and a new EP entitled “Fresh Humiliation” on Tell Me Records.

i feel like a stalker for this, but i saw in some top four albums thread that you had a dandi wind one. and i liked the name.

she is so cool.
and szam is awesome.
i love the music, it is so quirky and strange and i dont know awesome.
i confess, the start of searching flesh scares me though.

I'm so excited for the new cd!
Did anyone buy Sacrificial Remix? I ordered it in from Canada. I personally am like obsessive over remixes and making the same song sound totally different so I fell in love haha!

I didn't order that, I have her first cd and that's about it aside from downloads,
when I get money, I plan on ordering all the other cds that aren't sold out yet. x3

I've heard a couple of the songs from the new album,
So far this song called "Midget Palace" is my favorite,
but yeah, I saw those videos, they're excellent.
I also cannot wait for this cd. <3

"Our 2nd album Yolk of the Golden Egg is finally out now on SLU (in Canada) and Tell Me Records (in the USA). It took 3 years and we're proud of it so please buy it now."
