I saw him last night, and I totally agree with you Asha.
He was so amazing.
I was at the barrier, dead centre for his set, and gosh.
He just blew me away. <3
He gave me goosebumps, and I was sweating so much.
His voice is a gazillion times better live than on any CD, and I didn't think it was possible.
I've got a video recording of him singing Comin' Home, but stupid me, turns it on the side halfway through. XD
Edit: He sang the following songs, plus one or two more, I can't really remember. XD (NOT IN ORDER!)
Waiting
Body in a Box
Comin' Home
The Girl
Sam Malone
Save Your Scissors
The Death of Me
If he played the same set as in Sydney, then he did Hello, I'm In Delaware as well (:
I really cannot get over how amazing he was at Soundwave.
Yeah, I love his cd's & everything, but he was just mind blowing.
It's really hard to explain, but I think once you've seen him live it would make sense
Oh yes, I'm fairly sure he played that here too. XD
Edit: I'm fairly sure he played Day Old Hate too.
I totally get what you mean Asha.
I don't know how to explain, because he didn't have flashy lights, and crazy antics, and he didn't really try to get the crowd involved.
But he engaged us all. I don't think there was one person who wasn't dying to hear more from him.
His voice was just so raw and jdhgjkhgjhgkfg. Words don't even do it justice.
He was the best live singer I've ever heard.
he was so great at soundwave. i took some pictures, and they're on my deviantart account if you'd like to check them out. http://grindcorephotography.deviantart.com
so amazingg.
bring me your love is all that i've been listening to lately.
my favorite song off the album is sleeping sickness.
his voice is just ajasklhd;lajfl.
Oh, Sleeping Sickness is the best song off that album, in my opinion.
I loooooooooooooooove his "cover" of Happiness by the Kilowatt, from the Live CD.
And I love that DVD.
And yerrr. I love Dallas. Like, I can't even explain how much.
Ahhh, that sucks.
But he's progessively getting more well known, so I'm sure he'll be doing a lot more of his own tours.
I hope he comes to Australia. I'd love to see his own show, not just part of a festival.
I think Dallas Green is amazing, tbh
i first found out about City and Colour after being a fan of Alexisonfire for quite a long time.
I know it sounds cheesy, but when i've been in really shitty moods, listening to his music is really nice.
The Death of Me and Sleeping Sickness are my favourites on Bring Me Your Love :']
some of waiting... I took it on the 7th of june. it's only some because I got in trouble by security, ahaha.
he was amazing though. a little snippy, but amazing.
I bought the live DVD/CD today and watched it with my dad.
When I bought it my dad was all 'WHO THE HELL'S CITY & COLOUR'
Then we watched it & he said he was brilliant. Lulz.
I've been listening to him for the past couple of days and OMG HE'S SO AMAZING!!!
I can't get him out of my head.
He's coming to Austin for the Austin City Limits festival and I really wanna go see him and I'm sorry but I don't know how much festivals cost but I'm not gonna pay $80 when he's the only one I want to see.
