They make me proud to be half-Swedish. Cuz basically the only other band people know from there is ABBA... ew...

How about posting some pics/info/links?

I like The Hives.
They're alright.
I think their lead singer is starting to look like Ben from Billy Talent lately though.
That's not a bad thing.

I love them. One of my favorite bands. All of their albums are pretty amazing, but I really love the Black and White album.

I think they're good. I havn't heard much of them though, mostly the singles and a couple of more songs.
What you said about seeing them everywhere makes me think that they're bigger outside sweden than they are here, in sweden. MTV plays them every now and then I think, but otherwise you don't see or hear much from them.

Woo, great thread

I can remember watching the vids for "Hate To Say I Told You So" and "Die Alright" on my uncles laptop in 7th grade and thinking how cool they were. Actually I think that was the first CD I ever bought on my own.

Is there any new album after Tyrannosaurs Hives?

Yes, it's called The Black and White Album and it came out last year. The lead single was "Tick Tick Boom" and it had a great video where The Hives were giant art exhibits that came to life and they caused the museum they were in to explode.

The Hives make me laugh. I mean like, in a good way. I like them a lot. I only got into them though when "Tick Tick Boom" came out. After that, it was the point of no return.
