Posts: 5099 | March 27th, 2008 at 04:28pm Very first song I heard was Not Okay - Damie played it for me so that I could hear how appropriate it was to his situation (he'd just broken up with a girl.) Nope, that did NOT make me an immediate fan. I didn't become a fan until my February 23 show, and the first song that registered with me there was Teenagers, although I recognized WTTBP from net radio (I had always liked the "Carry On" song but never knew who sang it.) The songs that actually resonated with me first were Sleep and Disenchanted, because the lyrics sounded to me like all of the things my late husband wanted to say to me, and this was BEFORE I realized that TBP was about a cancer patient. Once I realized that, and really listened to Cancer (don't ask me how I failed to realize that the song was called fucking Cancer) I cried for a week straight. God, that was a long-winded answer! Sorry about that!

Hmm... Lines. As tacky as it is it's gotta be FLW. 'I am not afraid to keep on living'... On particularly rubbish days, it is the only song that makes me stubborn about getting over it. 
Question 2: No, I don't dislike any of their songs. I like some more than others, just that's the norm, surely.
