We won't have to audition [I don't think]; we're making two separate bands.

Though- at one point; we're all gonna have to record parts to something.
Otherwise; it's not exactly a band.

And just so all of you know:
When recording; you WILL NOT have to go and rent a studio for an hour to go and lay down your part.

Just record it on the PC, or anything with a mic that can be transferred to a PC [e.g. an MP3 player].

If you're recording a guitar or a bass, you can either:
Use a mic [either PC, or a mic on an MP3 player or something] near the amp to record
or
Plug the amp into the "Line in" jack if your PC has one.

If you're recording drums, you'll need to either:
A) Use drum programing
or
B) Just stick a mic near a drumset and play your heart out.

If your doing vocals:
Just sing into a mic

Then we can all put the MP3 files together and turn it into a song!

If you're recording on a PC, AUDACITY is a good bit of free software to get.

I have a little problem with my microphone thingy at the moment, and my keyboard is in a different room to my computer, so I might have to wait 'till I get my laptop fixed before I can record some stuff for anyone.
I promise I'll get it though.

Firstly, I though of perhaps some internet related names... but then I realised [being the geek I am], that no computer jargon would really make a great name [I mean- seriously- does the "USB bandits" sound good to you?].
Unless we choose "Hacker" or "The Hackers"...

^Yeah, we should! That's a good idea! Plus, we'd be, in a way, supporting them, and telling them how much we love them.

I'd be willing to do covers of them; but I'm not really a fan of theirs anymore.

"Hearts for Hire"
