As someone from Hearts for Hire said maybe we should do a cover first. Maybe MCR?
What do you think?

And also we should talk about what influences and stuff.

These are my main influences: MCR, Trivium, BFMV, MSI, Muse, Green Day.
Mainly Rock/Metal/Hardcore/screamo/punk/pop punk.

Okay I have some different influences to Heather to say the least.

My musical influences are all the 90s grunge scene bands (think Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, , Alice In Chains), stoner rock (Kyuss, Earth), punk (Ramones, Sex Pistols etc) as well as other alternative rock like Radiohead, Smashing Pumpkins, Blur and MCR. So I take a lot from a lot of bands and throw it together. IMO, for us to really gel we need to listen to some of our band members influences that we don't know much about.

I also personally believe we should play some original material first before we look at covers. The reason for this is that we already are an INO band, and doing MCR covers will pretty much ruin any cred we may have had. Just my opinion. But we should all vote on the matter first.

I don't want to sound too pushy or anything, but I reckon that if we want to be a band everyone has to be honest with each other on how they feel about our music.

One last question; do you guys reckon we should include a keyboardist and even a flute in our band? Personally, I love the idea of having several different instruments contributing to one sound, but we all should vote on it.

We're doing some covers over there to get our feet wet; and to see how we work.
The_Purple_pope has got a good idea, though.
I have some stuff written, too, and I'm not too keen on it. I've got to divide it between HFH, and GMH.
Seeing as Conor's snapped his E string [how the hell he did it; I do not know], I think I'll be the only bassist for a while.
Just so you guys know- if another bass player comes along; they get the position.

Agreed. That's what we're doing at HFH.
It allows us to see how eachother works; and gives us a bit of a whirl on our instruments to prepare us.

Also, I kinda agree with The_Purple_Pope, we should do some original stuff first, perhaps. Unless the whole point of this is to kinda be an MCR tribute band..

Jethro Tull had a flute...worked pretty well for them. Everything we can have, we should.
And if everyone else wants to do some covers first, then OK but we should do more than MCR covers, try a whole lot of stuff.
