Not for good but for a while.

We are VERY aware of the Dana situation. However, she's not the only one posting on a dupe account around here, we all know it. If we ban Dana, we have to treat everyone on a dupe account the same way.

We've been trying to think of what to do, and unfortunately this is how it is: You want her banned for making another account, she and EVERYONE else will be getting the same treatment. As per the rules, anyone knowing that a previously banned person has made a new account should get banned as well.

1)When you join INO it is important you know that you are only allowed one account.
Some people have been banned in the past for making multiple accounts. We are adamant that you abide by this rule, if you are found to have a second account you will be banned. If you have more than one account it is assumed that you are creating a fake user. Here at INO we do not want our users to be tricked by fakes. It is also against the rules to allow a banned person to post through your account. You might think you are being a good friend, but it will lose you your account. If you are aware that someone has an additional account it is your duty to report them. If you do not do so you are running the risk of a banning yourself.

Crystal - we have known for ages that you have been using a second account but decided not to ban you because as you said you were not causing a problem - but clearly now we have had reports wanting another user banned for a second account I'm afraid you have to go too. We cant have one rule for one and not for another.


Dana - You are not clever. You did not con us. You could not talk to us and sort it out. You are now IP banned. You'll NEVER be back. Got it?


As for the locking of the thread .... So many of you knew that Crystal had a second account and you didnt report it so according to the rules you should all be banned. Literally all of you.

Also Nicola had a second account (ahsaf) so she is now banned too. Rachel (Dexter Morgan) you will have a temporary ban for your rudeness on the WAYT last night. I know you were frustrated but all you had to do was wait. There was no way we would have allowed this to carry on, you didnt need to blow your top. You will be allowed back on INO in the future - this is a temp ban. Please contact support@imnotokay.net for details.

The rest of you will keep your accounts but the thread is locked for now. When it comes back will be at the discretion of the staff. No pestering them to unlock it, it will be unlocked when we think it's ready.

I know there is bound to be a backlash to this, but we honestly have tried "damage limitation" here to avoid banning too many people. We could have gone all kickass and banned everyone but we decided against this.
