Like the way the songs go in style and such. I have no idea if that's what you mean though. |

Age: 102 Gender: Female Posts: 3403 | July 30th, 2007 at 05:51pm They seem to use the "hotel" theme a lot.
"Check into the Hotel Bella Muerte..." --Jetset.
"Jet black hotel mirror..." --FLW
"I'm at this old hotel..." --Heaven Help Us
"Do you have the keys to the hotel?!" --Prison
If this is the type of recurrance you're talking about, at least. |

Age: - Gender: Female Posts: 1924 | August 1st, 2007 at 11:02pm Well there are a lot of recurring themes...
Like blood [obviously xD], war, oh yeah and 'three cheers' or maybe i'm confusing that with The Used. Umm...I had a whole list in my head, but it sort of went kaput.
But they use guns a lot. This has probably already been said somewhere... |

And they of course have the reoccuring themes involving guns...heaven...hell...death...church... |

I noticed that too. At the beginning, I think the guitars and stuff kinda sound the same. They're still amazing songs though. |

Age: - Gender: Female Posts: 2601 | April 11th, 2008 at 10:05pm yeah there are a lot of recurring themes in all their songs thruout all the albums -- guns, violence, death & getting over death, the undead (vampires/zombies/etc), suicide, religion,... remember, alot of their imagery is also inspired by comic books & those dark edgy graphic novels Gee loves. as well as the occasional reference to different works of literature... well, there are so many rich fascinating metaphors and themes in their songs. it's what keeps u in love with them |

"These bright lights are always blinding me" -Famous Last Words.
"And these bright lights won't kill me now, or show me how (I'm not sure that's exactly right...?) - It's Not A Fashion Statement, It's A Deathwish.
And, nearly the same: "A light to burn all the empires" - The Sharpest Lives. |

Just you and I, your starless eyes remain-It's not a fashion statement.....
Starless eyes for Heaven's sake-This is the best day ever
So what does the term 'starless eyes' mean?
