Posts: 14696 | October 15th, 2008 at 10:21am I want to start off saying that waiting in the pouring rain with Sarah was a whole lot of fun. Because we just laughed and shivered for like, three hours.
Our show was so messed up.
First off, Hey Monday and Carolina Liar couldn't play because of all the rain (and electrical problems/it's an outdoor venue).
But WTK started playing and after the second song, they told us the show was over. Everyone's faces just DROPPED. There was an electrical fire and no one was else was going to be able to play electric. But Travis came back out and played acoustic for another... 15 minutes.
Then they took down all the equipment and William and Michael came out and played acoustic. The set wasn't as long, obviously. It was so perfect. Oh my gosh. Erika knows! She was on the phone for most of it. xD
They apologized about thirty times during their set and everyone understood.
Afterwards, we walked out and watched Hey Monday do an acoustic set next to their van. INCREDIBLE I MIGHT ADD.
And then, much to our surprise, TAI were standing outside their bus, meeting people. I didn't think we'd get to meet them because of SLH. We walked over and got to meet all of them. :]
And I asked William to make a video for Shannon saying hello. He did and I think that was my most favorite part of the entire night. |
