Posts: 176 | April 1st, 2007 at 07:25am Never seen a vid off Bullets (but I will soon), but I didn't like I Don't Love You that much. It wasn't as intense, or as good to watch as the others. Not the kind that leaves you wanting more. But I think the exploding amps and falling band members were the worst part.
I think what saved it were Gerard's about-to-cry expression, which was just love, and the girl crying blood at the end.
So, yeah. Before, I couldn't choose between all their videos, but when this came out, it immediately became second to everything else. It's not that I don't like it; I do, just not as much as everything else, which were genius.

Plus, doesn't anyone else think the close ups of Frank's side view face while he was playing was HOT? Haha. |

Um, it actually has a storyline. The burning float and Gerard looking crazed and dying implied that all their followers deserted them (which is why they're still wearing their WTTBP outfits), and that Gerard is nearing his end as The Patient.
Gerard also said somewhere that Famous Last Words had two meanings: one was that the Patient was dying, and the other was that he had a choice to keep on living.
I didn't like it so much too, before I understood what everything meant. |
