i have seen simple plan play,and while the bassist is cool,they are pop music.sound like a million other blink 182s/good charlottes worldwide.

I'm personally quite a fan of Simple Plan.

A)They're Canadian. Like me, eh?
B)They're advocates against teen suicide, for Kids Help Phone
C)Even though a lot of their songs sound the same, they mean something, and some people can relate.
D)They're just 4 guys having fun with a purpose; the purpose to help someone.

I think they're admirable.

I for one do like simple plan and I am not ashamed to say it
the songs are good and I really can relate to some of the lyrics
but the fact that I like them so much could also have something to do with David en Seb

I looooove Simple Plan and I'm not afraid to admit it. I hate 'em though for not coming to Texas last year whenever they were with GC.
My favorite song would have to be My Alien. I feel like listening to em now.

I like SP and I don't care. They have something to say and they're good fun. They don't take themselves as seriously as a lot of other bands who really are about the same standard.

Plus, they're one of the few bands that actually took an interest in Malaysia. And their fans. When we told Chuck we couldn't get into their show because you had to be a Malaysian citizen to enter any of the competitions to win tix (the only way of getting them) he told us he'd get us tix. And he did. Didn't get to go, mind you. (Silly mother.) But I thought that was wicked.

they play their own intruments, they write their own songs, they dont take themselves to seriously and they put on a kickass show sure i wasnt very impressed with the new album but most bands fuck up their sophmore effort and david freaks me out with his emo hair, i remember when he was blonde but i still like em

Hm... Pierre was kind of pissy with us. But later he did save my ass twice, so I can forgive him for being pissy. And lets be brutal, who isn't pissy when they're jetlagged?

But yeah, Chuck took time to talk with us. He's amazing. He missed like 6 elevators! The people from their label were getting really mad at him for taking so much time! We were really lucky tho, cos everyone else their went into total shock, so we got to have a proper conversation with him and Pat.

I miss it whenever I was sooo obsessed with em.
And my new friend has the SP shirt that I have.

In my opinion I dont think they're that good.
But they do put on a great live show.
