mccrack. Salute You in Your Grave
Age: 36 Gender: Female Posts: 3660 | November 2nd, 2006 at 10:00am I wrote this for INO, it's up on the Song Meaning page already. I think it's accurate.
Originally sung by horror-punks the Misfits, a band the whole of MCR admire. The song was written by Glenn Danzig, and was based on the 1968 horror movie "The Astro-Zombies". The plot line of the movie is like so; A crazy scientist creates an Astroman from a dead criminals body ("With just a touch of my burning hand/I send my astro zombies to rape this land", which goes on a killing spree and draws the attention of the CIA. |

i live danzig and everything that has something to do with the misfits but that he hates the world and all the peple is just too typical, he could say that in before playing ANY song, cause this is just the image black metal (i´m talking of glenn danzigs band danzig now) sells us. thei´re against human beings.
and some guys understood that wong, thought of hating minorities and made nbm out of it (nationalsocialistic black metal) |

This song is a classic and My Chemical Romance did an excellent job with it.

Age: 39 Gender: Female Posts: 574 | December 1st, 2007 at 08:16am Go to www.theimmortalityproject.com. It's listed under Fansite>downloads>covers by MCR. I think that's right. But yeah, I tend to agree with mcrcrack--usually has her shit together--how the song's based on a movie from the 60s. |
