Most Underrated Bands

I think by far the most is Garbage, they are great, good song writers, great live and have amazing songs. Shirley manson is also has a really great singing voice.
They were quite big once, but even back then they didn't get the credit they deserved .

They and MCR are my favourite bands.

My Chemical Romance. They may not be underrated to us, but a lot of people write them off as "some pop emo group with their 15 minutes ticking", and link them with less talented bands that sound nothing like them: Fall Out Boy, Panic! At The Disco, etc. It's so annoying to hear.

That's how it USED to be, about two years ago.
Now everyone loves them. They HAVE become overrated.
But I still like them.

The Pink Spiders. I cannot stress that enough. They're not out to prove something, they're not making music for money, they're not doing it for the fame. They don't want to save lives, they don't want to play to a thousand people, they just want to play.

And hey, they play some damn good music.

I agree. My best friend used to be the biggest MCR fan I knew. Then suddenly when we came back from Christmas break she starts saying, "My Chemical Romance are sell outs. They sold themselves to MTV." and "If I ever meet Gerard Way I'm going to slap him."
I'm like "Wtf."

An underrated band is Anberlin. They make great music and seem like really good guys. But I never hear them anywhere and almost nobody knows who they are. It's retarded. They deserve to have some attention after 3 CDs.
