I've been in it for two years, next season being three.
I play piccolo, and next year's theme will blow everyone out of the water...
The first two kind of sucked though: Phantom of the Opera and Grease,
We're playing Thriller next year! I can't wait, it's going to be so great.

Yeah I march I play the french horn. It's pretty tight. Been marching since I was in fifth grade ... yeah ... I hate marching >.< lol. More a concet band type I suppose.
Oh well.
Yeah I totally didn't go to band camp ... my director was PISSED ... lolz. It was awesome. That man is so easy to piss off

Next year we are doing some lame marching show...i don't know the name of the marching show, but i know one of the movements is called 'La suerte de los tonots', i'm excited though...i love marching season.

I'm starting marching band next year (oh no!) and I'm dreading it and looking forward to it at the same time. I'm not a very active or athletic person, I sit inside and write stories, read comic books, play bass, cello, guitar, piano, or something, listen to MCR, and sleep. Now I'm going to have to march around in the sun every day DX. The marching band goes to florida and ohio and a few other places....they even went to china one year so that's really the only reason I'm going to join. Is it as bad as they make it sound?

I've been a trumpet player in marching band for 6 years!!
Started in middle school, and I'm gonna be in it until I'm out of high school. (Which is only two more years *cries*)
This year we're doing a The Beatles theme. =D

WOOOO go bass drummers! girl bass drummers, at that! i start in 9th grade. one more year...... can't wait. i mean really, there's no point to a football game without the band.... duh.
Im a freshman going into marching band..

hm. depending on where you live, be sure to dress for the weather and stay hydrated and stuffs. it can be pretty tiring. just try to have fun with it, though. it's so awesome and worth it after you get to start doing a show.

i had my first band practice today! Band camp is next week. =/ its fun, but the marching is hard, dude! the other guys in baritone are cool though
this is my 4th year in marching band and i am proud to say that i march Bass clarinet ( only cause my director thinks that marching a e-flat contra would be suicide)

Actually, I pretty much hate it, but the people are fantastic.
Something about marching around a football field in frigid/extremely hot weather brings kids together. :]
We started August 4th and we're almost done setting our show. The show is called the music of Danny Elfman, which includes Edward Scissorhands (ballad), Beetlejuice, Augustus Gloop, Pee Wee's playhouse theme and Batman. So that's pretty badass.

Ahhh, that seems so cool. Our theme is "Stained Glass," which isn't that bad, but last years show was more fun. Haha.
