Many of my relatives/friends of the family have died of cancer,so it´s difficult for me to listen to it too much or sing along to it. |

Age: 40 Gender: Female Posts: 301 | June 14th, 2007 at 09:02pm "Helena" made me cry the first few times I heard it, as did "Famous Last Words" and "Ghost of You," but "Cancer" really does it for me. I cry every single time I hear it. It just breaks my heart. I was on my knees in tears the first time I heard it (on their SNL guest appearance), and when I heard it live, I was inconsolable.
I have an alarm clock that I can hook my iPod up to and choose what song I want to wake up to - a few weeks ago I made the royal mistake of picking "Cancer." I cried for a good ten minutes before I had even turned the light on and gotten up, and I felt miserable all day. |

Sleep.
Cancer.
Sleep most though, I literally sob when I listen to that song. It reminds me of a girl at my school who just died. But it's such a fucking amazing song I don't like to avoid it, which I probably should do because I get so emotional. |
