My grandmother had passed away less than 2 weeks before the show. The song had always been very powerful, but I hadn't been able to completely relate to it until then. |

Posts: 3 | June 27th, 2007 at 11:43pm Cancer- It literally took me about 2 weeks to actually get myself to listen to that song because my grandma(whom i love more than life) was diagnosed with breast cancer for the 2nd time. :'( So then I thought I was fine with the song and then my mom overheard the song and it made her kinda cry. But she said that she's glad that MCR wrote a song about 'cancer' and she sees why i love this band so much.
Also, Helena gets me emotional when they perform it live because I think you can feel the conviction and hurt in Gerard's voice. |

The dedication nearly made me cry more than the song!

Desert Song has the same affect...prolly cause that and Lovers is related. |
