I was on The View's blog, and I came across an old list of songs from 'Hats Off....'
And it was saying what each song was written about, and when I got to 'Don't Tell Me' I ended up laughing for about five minutes. xDD
So, I've decided to post it.
Don't Tell Me
I've got to watch what I say here because Kyle wrote this track. It's a true story about what happened after his 18th birthday party. He ended up face down in the mud and woke up in some old woman's bed and had to walk home with no shoes. We all wound him up saying: "You should've seen what you got up to last night".
i have loved the view for quite a long time.
i absolute love the album i have.
i have never posted here either though...
the only problem i have with the view is that their accents are so strong i can't always understand recorded interviews!
the accents are so cute though.
i may just need an occasional translator!
*hopes*
i thought i heard a rumour but then i wasnt sure if it was just me making it up for wishful thinking
so i decided to not get too excited just in case.
the jayt and the doctor interview was very funny!
and when the horrors said about them that they were really nice guys after about the first week when they could finally understand them!
lol.
perhaps you stole kyles hair?
not quite so crazy though
Not really, there's a lot of variations mainly a sort of west coast, east coast, highland split, but it's probably not very noticable to non-Scots. Dundee accent's are a bit like Fife - where i'm from - but sped up.
Sorry, I went on a bit, does that even make sense? =D
Oh dear, it's not even on topic.
In the article about the new album, who is crazy mo? I thought it might have been Steve but I wasn't sure.
Yes, it makes sense!
It's kind of like here, we have different variation on our accents all over the island.
It's so cool though, that you've got a Scottish accent. xDD
& don't even worry about getting off-topic, it's alright to get off-topic every now and then. [=
We're reading Macbeth in English class right now, and it takes place in Scotland and they mention Fife!
Crazy Mo is Steve.
He calls himself that innnn... the Making of Superstar Tradesman.
