Burn all the Empires Bleeding on the Floor Age: 45 Gender: Female Posts: 1979 | As you all know (unless you've had your head in a bucket or have been completely overcome by the recent 'Frerard & Stripping Action' ), the boys are returning to the UK in November - YAY! Sun 11th Nov - Newcastle Mon 12th Nov - Aberdeen Tue 13th Nov - Sheffield Thu 15th Nov - London Sat 17th Nov - Belfast It seems there are quite a few INOers who are going to 1 or more of the gigs, and would like to meet up or arrange transport, accommodation, etc...... So I figured a thread would be the best way to do it, as up to now PMs and e-mails are proving difficult to keep up-to-date with. So please discuss this, and only this, on here - absolutely NO SPAMMING! (or it will be locked). Also don't pass any personal info over the thread i.e. phone numbers, addresses this should still be done through PMs. Thanks guys, Jenni xx LET THE COUNTDOWN BEGIN!!!!! |
Burn all the Empires Bleeding on the Floor Age: 45 Gender: Female Posts: 1979 | So far this is the plan for Me , (Burn), Serenity and Electricsuzi We have tickets to all the shows and its probably going to go something like this: Sat 10th Nov - Aberdeen - Glasgow/Edinburgh - Newcastle: camp outside the arena overnight. Sun 11th - Newcastle show - try and meet the boys after - drive to Aberdeen: camp outside venue overnight. Mon 12th - Aberdeen show - try and meet the boys after - drive to Sheffield: camp outside venue overnight. Tues 13th - Sheffield show - try and meet the boys after - stay in a hotel overnight (a bed/shower at last!). Wed 14th - Sleep in for as long as possible, then drive to London: camp outside venue overnight. Thu 15th - London show - try and meet the boys after - possibly stay in a hotel? Fri 16th - Get Ferry/Plane to Belfast: camp outside venue overnight. Sat 17th - Belfast show - try and meet the boys after - stay in hotel? Sun 18th - Travel back to Glasgow - Aberdeen Mon 19th Nov - Tues 25th Dec - SLEEP!!!!! I'm sure there are many flaws in the plan at this stage, but basically if you want to join are INO parade tour then come along! At the moment I'm driving, but if there are a few of us we can hire a mini-bus for the Newcastle-Aberdeen gigs (I know there's at least 10 people for that trip!) Any ideas, suggestion please let us know. What do you all think of making an INO UK Tour Diary? I'll get hold of a video camera and it could be loads of fun, like our own version of LOTMS! We should have an INO mission as well! (btw please let me know if I'm getting completely carried away! |

Temo-gemo Fabulous Killjoy Age: 35 Gender: Female Posts: 103 | Anyone know of any good hotels near the 02 arena? Me and Gerard's angel, have found a good hotel but the tubes to it stop at midnight! And we would really like to meet the boys, so were not too sure of that hotel anymore. A hotel within walking distance would be best really |
Serenity Fabulous Killjoy Age: 38 Gender: Female Posts: 156 | I just found this website listing all hotels near the O2 and it looks like the only one within walking distance is the Holiday Inn Express but it's prices are ridiculous for that night. Maybe you could get a taxi to wherever you are staying? I have no idea how much that costs in London but shouldn't be too much. ETA: I found this useful advice here. It says don't use taxis and has some links to websites dealing with hotels near the o2 |
arthur pendragon. Crash Queen Age: 30 Gender: Female Posts: 30309 | Ermmm Sheffield meet up? There should be one. And in answer to the taxi cab thing in London. When I went to see them in Koko we got a cab at 10 at night from koko on Camden high street to the london Victoria station and it cost about £14. I don't know if that means anything to anyone but yeah. XD |
starktreks Devil's Got Your Number Age: 31 Gender: Female Posts: 35214 | Sheffield show;; Me and 'Eryn .Revenge' will be making a sign that says 'INO.net' on it, so if you see us come and say hello!!! We're not sleeping over-night because we arent standing, but we're gonna try and get there as soon as possible!! ) About 1pm We're planning on saying hello to Draco Malfoy and Livi They're the names we know at the moment... XD Tell me your username if you want if your going and I'll SCREAM it either in the queue or in the arena. If you see a random looking girl with shoulder length blondish hair and Frank eyes, don't be alarmed. Tis me. Haha xxxx |

Ebonylox Joining The Black Parade Age: - Gender: Female Posts: 242 | Sounds like you've got a great plan! At least you've thought about it. All I've really done is googled hotels thought 'omg that's expensive', googled train fares thought 'omg that's not as bad as I thought' and squeed rather a lot. I've got tix for Newcastle, Aberdeen, Sheffield and London. None of my 'real life' friends love My Chem/me enough to come with. So I'd love to meet My Chem fans for travelling and queuing company. |
TequilaRomance Fabulous Killjoy Age: 57 Gender: Female Posts: 139 | At the moment am going to Sheffield only, due to work and personal commitments. I live near Burnley, about 1/2 hour drive from Manchester...so will be driving to Sheffield in the morning. Will be looking for the tour buses before and after the gig. Would love to meet anyone from here who's going. Am standing. No idea what hair colour I'll have in November lol...it was green in March its red now |
The Hitcher Bleeding on the Floor Age: 32 Gender: Female Posts: 1633 | wayley hilliams: anddd... addition to this... anyone know of hotels near to the arena?? |
Burn all the Empires Bleeding on the Floor Age: 45 Gender: Female Posts: 1979 | Chemically_Romantic: Yay, I'm glad you like the idea of the tour diary, I think it could be really fun and great for everyone who meets up to have a video of all the fun! When 'Serenity' and I met Frank after the Glasgow gig in March, he came out about 12.30am, I think, correct me if I'm wrong anyone! From talking to loads of fans and from experience of waiting for them, they never leave the venue until all the crew are packed and ready to go as well, so they are usually there for at least 3-4 hours after the gig has finished (how sweet are they waiting to all go together!). So don't believe what the guards tell you - most of the time they are lying! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ When a few more people have confirmed what they would like to do then I'll start updating the thread with who's meeting up where and/or travelling/camping together at which venue. This is going to be so much fun |
PlasticDreams-x Killjoy Age: 31 Gender: Female Posts: 13 | Anyone that is going to see them in Aberdeen, it would be good to get some meet-ups and everything. It's my second MCR gig, I'm hoping it'll be better now that I have more experience of concerts and such.. I've got a hotel near to the venue (AECC).. but I'm not sure how early to show up.. I went to Glasgow at 10:30am but I definitely want to get there earlier this time round. |
Burn all the Empires Bleeding on the Floor Age: 45 Gender: Female Posts: 1979 | PlasticDreams-x: If you definitely want to get to the front I'd get there really early, even the night before if you can! I was at Glasgow as well and got there about 5.30am and there were already 15 others there who had been there from the night before. Although we got to the front, I was really p*ssed off because they had pushed people in front in the queue, and so I ended up about 30 back, and when we got into the arena the guards made us go all the way over to the end of the barrier past the left side of the stage! I'm really hoping that doesn't happen again! |
