I liked it better when only I knew Metro Station in my school, I'd feel good about obsessing over a small town band that only I knew everything about and only I'd bring up in conflicts. There's no "but I like them better" and no one's pissing you off because they're like "did you see them on TV last night?" but now people say that to me and go "OH DID YOU HEAR SHAKE IT ON THE RADIO YESTERDAY?!?!" and I go "No," and walk away...it's just annoying but at the same time, i'm kind of happy for them, for being successful.

They were #36 on Rick Dee's Top 40. Everyone knows what that means. :/ I mean, I want it for them obviously, but I'd still like the keep them. You know? >.<

"/ This girl was talking on myspace, and she was talking pretty bad shit about them, and like, she was someone I didn't even expect to know who they are, but she said every girl has 'Shake It' as a myspace song, and that they're such an overplayed band on the radio, and a whole bunch of other stuff, and it made me mad, both that she hated them so much and how many people know them, I don't listen to the radio, so I hadn't realized how big they'd gotten here. "/ But for anyone on here besides Katie, cause she knows already, THEY WERE AMAZING LAST SATURDAY.<3 I'd see them again in a heartbeat, srsly.
