but yeah.. i listened to these guys for the first time in a while
yesterday in the car, and i forgot how much i love them.
my brothers little friends were singing along to 'shake it',
and they didn't know the others, and i felt weird because i did.
and they were like eh about it.

I think they're just getting attention because of the whole Miley Cyrus connection. I wonder where they'd be without that. Although, they could be talented and The Cyrus thing is a stigma holding them back from credit they deserve...  hahah yeah right.

Half the people that like them don't realize Trace is even her brother at first.
I wish people would just drop that.
I really, honestly, don't think that's the only reason they're big.
I know I personally had no clue about Trace when I first heard them.
And the first song I heard wasn't 'Shake It', it was 'Control', and it wasn't on the radio.
I dunno, it makes me mad. ><
Oh, and they are talented.
And who really cares if they're "fugly" or not, I know I don't.

Posts: 3290 | June 24th, 2008 at 01:50pm I'm not so much making fun of them for being fugly (hey, it happens to the best of us) as I am making fun of a lot of fans I've seen on youtube, etc who are obsessed with their looks just because they're the new flavour of the week.
And don't tell me that the fact both of their siblings are in a billion dollar franchise hasn't got a lot to do with them getting attention. Trace and Mason met on the Hannah Montana set, which has HUGE label producers involved.
Like anything, its a business of who you know, not what you know.
Its a fact of life. |

And yeah, I know that's probably how they got together and got everything started,
but it's not the only reason they're ~big, you have to have atleast some talent, too.

Posts: 2394 | June 24th, 2008 at 03:41pm it doesnt matter who is in the band or not. i loved this band a long time ago and now they are getting big just because of who is in the band. the first song i heard was tell me what to do and i loved it from the very beginning. it's just weird cus people are freaking out about the fact that the two singers have famous family members. at least they started from teh very beginning being really small. now they are just getting big way to fast.
to be honest i love anthony from all them. he is such a sweetheart. i had a good 15 minute convos with him at my cobra show and when they were on tour with armor for sleep |

i find them to be a little annoying. mainly because that song 'shake it'
is every where. but who knows? maybe when i see them i might
acutally like them. haha and when i found out that two of them are brothers to those people on hannah montana i couldn't stop laughing.
but i have to agree with some of you people, you have to have talent to become famous. especially if none of them are attractive. and it's not about the looks, it's about their talent for making great music.
so yeah...i'll find out if they are a good band this weekend |
