dude, last year at warped i for serious spend 15 mins infront of their merch tent - concussed & severely dehydrated with excessive amounts of caffine in my system
my intermonologue went like this 'okay, so alkaline trio, black shirt, red writing, white graphics, this should be easy, so, i could get the black shirt, with the red writing and their heart/scull logo thing, or OR! i could get the black shirt with the red writing and their logo with wings on it.. logo.. logo with wings... logo ... logo with wings... logo... logo with wings...'
15 mins later i told the Hannah what i wanted.

when i was walking out dude who normally is wearing a misfits shirt sees i have my trio shirt on

i turn around briefly and say "yeah" while looking for my bag claim ticket
"what did you think about their latest cd?"
"crimson or the new one?"

at this point i'm walking away because i still have to pack and he cant' leave his midbookstore position

I actually got the guts up to speak to them this time too, though I was shaking wih nerves pretty bad! haha But they were lovely.
Shame their set was dogged with sound problems, but was amazing to see them back. Where I was in the crowd was soooo rough though, my friend ended up on the floor (she NEVER goes on the floor), and almost no-one helped. I managed to damage one of my piercings in that too! lol Couldn't concentrate on them playing which was a shame.
Hopefully I'll be going to the KOKO show though, fingers crossed! |

But yeah that probably explains a lot! Though I think it may have been the size of the crowd as well, Earls Court is huge, I've not had so much of a problem at their smaller shows. There seemed to be a lot more people there for Finch and Alkaline Trio than there were for the headliners. |
