Michael Way.:
There is no reason you couldn't have put those all in one single post.

Secondly, the first couple of Gerard are not drawn.
You edited those on the computer.
I can tell.

Agreed. You never drew those.

Gorgeous. I really like how his arm is just implied, and it sort of blends into the background. It adds to the atmosphere, I think, and definitely makes the focus of the drawing his face where, as stated above, you captured the emotion very well. Great job. Very Happy

I love using charcoal too, and that looks great. It has nice value and shading, and the composition is interesting too. Maybe it would have a different effect if you blended in the arm more, just a suggestion. I like the way it is now though

really? I hate charcoal. I feel like it grates nastily along the paper.
but hey, that looks really nice.
there are some bits that are a bit hard to discern, like his arm maybe blends in a bit too much with the wall, but it has a really nice feeling, like with the expression and all, it feels like a person rather than static like some people do, and imo, getting the feeling down is tons more important.
so yeah, really cool.
sorry for commentary like I'm actually entitled to judge, I kinda suck at drawing so you're totally better than I am. >.>

I also love Charcol, and Pastels.
I like the dustyness, since you can smudge it and stuff.

I'm really good at Charcol, also. I'll post some stuff some time.

I actually met George Pettit the other day (this is no joke) and showed him this and he was like "Oh WOW" and got really excited then him and Dallas sat there talking about it x] (Chris saw it also) George also signed the back of it 'Thanks a Million. George' Very Happy
Then Wade asked to see it and was just like :O "wow amazing" then I showed Jordan and he thought it was really good... ahh the best day ever (:

Yeahh I just couldn't believe it really I've just been on a high ever since x]
Charcoal is a really good art media to use and I'm glad you like it aswell, I hope to see some more of charcoal work from you in the future! (:
You've got quite a cool drawing style, the charcaol drawing kind of reminds me of like The Nightmare Before Christmas (just by the facial expressions, the way its drawn etc x] ) but both drawings also have a comic book style about them its pretty cool! (:
