But I seriously can't think of anything that really bothers me about it. Like a lot of complaints I see, in terms of writing, I can understand from a writing viewpoint why some decisions had to be made, and I guess that's why some things just don't really bother me? Because I'm empathetic as fuck? Yeah, that's probably why.
What do you mean by Jade doesn't have much foil? |

Posts: 22669 | July 3rd, 2014 at 11:16pm All the other characters I have seen have had some sort of interaction or event or relationship that calls out their flaws which rounds out their character. The only time this has happened to jade is when she prototyped herself. Everyone just seems to go out of their way to be really sugary to her and not question anything she does and she did some pretty extreme stuff when she got into the session.
Anyways I think that's what bothers me about jade. She didn't have the burden of proof like the other characters if you know what I mean. I know that she has had some brutal stuff happen to her except it was all martyr stuff that made her seem great. Her actual character was left unquestioned when every other character reacted to each other a lot more realistically imo. |
