He doesn't do that as much on II. And Surrender is the slowest song. There's nothing that stands up to Nothing to Lose at all. It's growing on me though. I totally didn't run down to Virgin as soon as it opened this morning to buy it ^^; |

| emurlee Demolition Lover Age: - Gender: - Posts: 18296 | A lot of it is just singing - think "Standing in the Rain" singing. He does shriek occasionally - the end of DIAMM, a little in Surrender, the chorus of Worker Bees, Perfect World ("Wouldn't make me SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICK!! CONTROOOL!!" - but on the whole there isn't so much; he maybe has a shrieky moment one line per song, whereas in the first album it was at least 50% shrieky.Of course his voice hasn't changed one bit. I don't know why they opted to lose some of the screaming, it's not the same without it really. Still, after listening to it near-constantly since I got home a few hours ago, I'm liking it a whole lot more than I did first time through.  |

I will see to it that I get it as soon as possible though.  I finally saw the video for Devil in a Midnight Mass, and honestly, it scared the bejeebers outta me.I was fine, but then they showed that guy, with no face or something. Dude, it just...no dude, it was weird. |
