Well, I've played flute since fourth grade, so it would be a total of 6 years, until September of course!
I have my own student model which I use for school in band, and I have my professional which I've had since last March. I love it. [It's name is Ping Pong... I wanted it to have an Asian name, so the first thing I could think of was Kicking and Screaming! haha!]
^^Heck yes, band is the most interesting period of the day! It's also my last class of the day! That makes it even better!
I also play piccolo. I just found the weak spot in the dang thing where it's like 40 cents sharp... D, Eb, and E. Argh. |

Posts: 18210 | January 25th, 2008 at 07:24pm the megalodon.:This year we're playing The Eighth Candle which is very fast, and loud, and it's in 5/3 time so that makes it even more fun.
My school plays that every year. I love playing it. I remember freshman year, playing it, and being the only one who could play the Flute One part all the way through almost perfectly.
Oh my favorite song to play at the moment:
Concerto in G: Mozart.

I'm a flute player too, doing ABRSM Grade 8 in autumn. I'm not sure how that figures in america but I've played since I was 8, I'm now 14. I love it. My favourite flute played is James Galway, because he is made of awesome. =)

It kinda comes to me easily but it was hard for me when I first started.
I like Eiger, Cantus Jubliante, Air Stream, and Photo Finish. Eiger and Cantus Jubilante are really hard though but I can kind of play them. |

Even though I don't play anymore, every once in a while, I pick it up. I love playing themes from animes like Naruto and Fruits Basket . |
