Ugh. I bought this for my friend. I can't handle books that misspell Freddie Mercury's name. Also apparently "Billy" Joe inspired Gerard's guitar playing? Good on him. They also spelt 'funeral' and 'thin' wrong.
It's nice to have but it's basically like "Gerard said this to Kerrang: 'meeeh, and then Gerard said this to another magazine: 'maaah', and then Gerard (actually we mean Frank but haha) said this: 'blaah'!"

I have read worse biographies mind you.

Demolition Lover- I bought it at Real Groovy in Auckland ...I think you can order it online but honestly it's not worth the $40;

I have this! I live in New Zealand and my uncle and aunt sent it to me from the UK Very Happy
It's pretty good, but I knew most of the stuff in it already, so I could predict what was going to be said next.
The bad thing about it is that there are SO many mistakes!
oh and also, at the back of it, there are a few pages about other biographies, and on the page that's meant to be about The Killers, it has the blurb for the MCR book.

EXACTLY MY THOUGHTS!

SO many freaking errors. that bothered me sooo much.

i got the book in like...May of this year, and i finished it in a week.
they RARELY mention Bob, Ray, or Mikey. it's mainly Gerard, and occasionally Frank. i got rather mad at the fact the others are barely mentioned at all. i thought after i finished it was a waste of twenty bucks (i got it mailed from amazon.com). it's okay for a biography though, i suppose. Smile

They do make a lot of mistakes.
But it's worth the money, I think.
=)
I've lost it, gah.

I have this, and have had it for quite a while, and I really like it.
It seems better than that Mona Gale book at least.
There's a new one coming out, and I think I'm getting it for Christmas... Hm.

But yeah, I really like this one, tbh.
