We got a good place, right near the front, though, I'm like 5 foot so I could just see a load of shoulders. DX
Serj Tankian was support. & he was really good. Usually I get bored of the support after the first or second song,
but I enjoyed his set.
He played Unthinking Majority, Empty Walls, Saving Us, I think he played Praise the Lord and Pass The Ammunition, and a couple more I can't remember.
So when he went off, we didn't have much of a long wait for the Foos to come on,
but everyone was just pushing forward and I wash squashed up against this woman for about 10 minutes.
Then finally, they came onstage, and I couldn't see much because of tall people infront, but I got a video of it, and their first song was Let It Die,
then The Pretender, and I can't remember what next but here's what else they played not in order:

My Hero and Everlong was amaaazing.
Oh and we were on the edge of a huge pit full of 40 year old men which was funny to watch. x]
Someone threw a thong up onstage saying 'put it on and pose for a picture', and I've got a video of it which I'll post when I get it on the computer,
and everyone was telling him to put it on, and he was like 'I love you baby, but I'm not putting on a fucking strangers thong' or something
& everyone boo'd him, and he was like 'yeaah, like you've fucking done it before!"
Oh, and they went off stage, and there was screens at the back of the stage, and they were backstage I think with a camera,
and everyone was going 'WE WANT MORE! WE WANT MORE!', and then he was like miming 'you want one more?' and everyone cheered,
then he was like '2?' and everyone cheered louder, then he said '3?' and everyone went crazy, then he went '1?' and everyone boo'd him.
Then he was teasing us and drinking water infront of the camera, and I think he lay down and wrapped himself in a blanket like they werent coming back,
then you just saw him run away from the camera and everyone went wild.
That's when they came back and played 4 more songs, and they played songs that weren't on the set list.
At the end guitar picks and drumsticks were thrown out and stickers, and I got a sticker, which was a big heart with Dave Grohl in the middle, haha.
Yeah so, no one cares but I just wanted to type it all out. XD
Oh and I got about 3 pictures, but they're kinda blurry so heres the most decent one, which is still crap. XD

I just got their most recent CD a few weeks ago, it's SO good. Usually I get bored with a CD half way through it, but I can listen to ESPG all the way through (:

I gotta say. The moment Dave Grohl made Everlong. He made quite possibly one of the greatest love songs ever written. Seriously. That song turned me into a softy and made cry a little when I first heard it and understood it.

They are one of my favoritet bands ever. They are coming to Iowa, but I don't think we can go because it's on a school night and it's like 3 hours away =[. which sucks cause this is a concert my parents would actually take me to, well my dad cause he likes them too

I was trying to talk my mom into taking me to see them because the show is next week, but it's not sold out and we could still get really good seats... But she said I had to choose between FF and FFTL, even though she really wants to see FF.
oh my how i love this band.
i am seeing them for the second time on 3rd of may.
and i am so excited. vanya hargreeves you really should see the FF.
i have been to alot of concerts, and none have come close to FF.
they are amazing live, they really are.

Actually, I was a little off in my post. The show was the 17th. I found out about it like, a week ago. Ooopss. I really do want to see them though. My mom is starting to get a little fed up of concerts though.

This video is so amazing, I thought I should share it with you guys.
well, i saw the foo fighters last night, and thought i would share.
my friend and i went to the venue at about 11 - 11:30 to wait in line. the show started at half seven, but the wait was worth it in the end. they let us into the venue at about six thirty, so there was alot of sitting around waiting for the show to start.
we ended up on the barrier, pretty much in the centre. IT WAS AMAZING.
anyways, the first support was -insert name here- i forgot. but she was a freaking amazing guitar player. and the mess hall came on to play. they were rather good but didn't talk to us.
then, it was time for the foo fighters. the lights got turned off, and the crowd went insane. then nate and chris walked out, followed by tayler, and then dave came on stage. he just stood there, and everyone screamed and jumped. this went on for a little while, and they launched into let die.
the set list from what i remember was: (not in order)

and they also played a half hour acoustic set in the middle which consisted of:

they played for about 2 and a half hours.
we heard stories about dave being arrested for drink driving on the gold coast (a little old, but still funny). he swore at us alot, which was rather amusing, and we also saw taylers pubes (lmao!). the crowd was chanting for him to "take it off!" and he pulled his pants a little to far. xD
they played a six song encore, which was pretty amazing, and ending the show with best of you was the best decision, the crowd went off.
when they ended dave threw a punch of picks in the crowd, and both me and ashleigh (my friend) caught one.
there are so many other moments that happened, but atm i can't think of them. xD the foo's are just such amazing entertainers, they sure do know how to play to a massvie stadium.
all up it was the most amazing night of my life. the only other show that has come close was the foo fighters back in 05. xD
